Beauty Buys!

Hi guys,

It has been a very long silence I know, but I have an excuse and I hope you understand :)

Today I am going to talk about my recent beauty buys. I have been trying to make this blog post ever since I got them, so here is it finally!

I was running out of Foundation and actually did not know what to buy. The Bourjois Flower Perfection was offered to me by the beauty adviser at the counter, so I just went for it! I will say that I really like this product. It's got SPF 15 in it and has a matte finish (which I like the most) and does not look cakey. Now I should say that despite the fact that it goes on smoothly and does provide a pretty good coverage, it does not last as long as I would want it to last. I work full time and by the end of the day it is almost all gone. I would want something to last a little bit longer, considering the fact that I cannot always touch up during the day.

Next thing I got is this gorgeous Smoky Beige Trench E1 from L'Oreal Paris. The colors are so flattering. The eyeshadow is pretty pigmented, and it's got a little shimmer in it, so if you don't like some sparkles in your shadows ( I would not recommend this, otherwise it is perfect for a night out and if applied in small amounts even during the day time). It has 4 colors: white, champagne, light brown and light grey.

The one on the left is from Belle Jardin. It is a Makeup and Eye Makeup Remover 3 in 1 cream. This product is just great for my dry skin. Not only it removes all of my make up - it freshens and nourishes it. It's got green olive extract which really does its job actually. The one on the right is a bath Avocado salt from On Line. It works wonders. Smells amazing and I sometimes feel as relaxed as I would be in a spa salon.

And lastly I just want to quickly go over the Clean Clear Makeup remover/ face lotion (second from the right). It did not do its job for me, as it dried my skin even more, so I will probably give it to my cousin, she just swears by it :) The nail polish on the left is from Golder Rose, it is in Nude color, works perfectly with all outfits :) And I also bought to try these wax strips. I really liked those :)

I hope you are all having a great day!

Always stay healthy and stylish!

Shoes That Make You Wanna Party All Night Long!

I personally think that every girl has to have shoes for every occasion. Today I would like to talk about that crazy high heeled shoes which make every dress from simple to haute couture look simple amazing! I needed shoes that would go with my apricot party dress for my cousin's wedding and I found some gorgeous nude high heels I always wanted to get. After I got those I had an idea to try to match all the high heel party shoes I had with appropriate clutches. Here is what I got.

I put together this River Island clutch with black shoes which I got last year. They look great together. I love the black and gold!

I just love these shoes! They go with everything. I matched these Baldi shoes with a clutch from Next. They look so glamorous.

And finally these crazy Steve Madden shoes I got 4 years ago! I have a matching dress to go with it! I love the shoes for their color and super sexy design ;)

Hope you enjoyed and as always stay healthy and stylish!

Fall-Winter Shopping Haul

It has been quite a while since I have posted on my Blog. It is sometimes challenging to update and realize all of my ideas when I am working full-time. Today I am extremely happy to have my energy back to be able to post my Fall-Winter Shopping Haul!

When shopping besides looking for the clothes or shoes to be stylish and well fitting, I also pay attention to its comparability. It has not been like this and I recently changed my attitude towards clothes and the way I wear those. There are some days that I just run around everywhere both at work and at home and I need to be as comfortable as possible. I get more tired and exhausted whether my heels are too high or my clothes are too tight fitting. So I needed some warm comfy clothes and shoes to satisfy my preference.

I got these super comfy and cute, sporty black and gold shoes from Shoes World. I like the material and coloring. It almost has no heels or a platform, so I can walk in these all day long and never get my feet tired. I match them with skinny jeans and they look so stylish!

I also needed something elegant to be able to wear both with jeans and skirts, so I got these Bershka Combined Wedges. I just love them and wear almost with everything. They look super!

I got this loose-fitting V-neck sweater from Next.

Black leather jacket from Bershka.

This was a present from my dad! I love this brown quilted jacket from Sherwood Forest.

Another super comfy, warm and stylish present from my father from Dare2Be! Great for evening walks with a pair of jeans.

That is all! I hope you enjoyed my Haul and stay tuned for more to come!

Always stay healthy and stylish!

Baby it is Cold Outside!

So it is the end of September! Two more days till October comes and the winter is just around the corner and it is getting colder and colder each day. My feet are always cold, in fact they are warm only in the hottest weather. I did not have warm slippers and my feet have already started getting cold :( So my wonderful husband bought me these super comfy Floral Ballerina pink and white slippers from Next! Those are absolutely adorable! They fit just great and are super soft from the inside. They do not slide off or anything and the most important they keep my feet super warm. I am sure I am going to enjoy the slippers all winter long :)

As you see they have got a button and bow detailing which I think gives the slippers more than "wearing at home" look. It is soo cute!

Hope you enjoy your weekend!

Party OOTD!

Today was a crazy day! We had to be at 2 birthdays on the same day at the same time and didn't know where to start : ( We eventually made it and are sooo tired now ready to go to bed immediately. Before we went to the party my husband managed to take a few pictures of me and here is a party OOTD! :)

I got this dress from Zara and it is from its Trafaluc collection. I love the detailing at the waistline and on shoulders, which you can’t really see in this picture unfortunately. My shoes are just regular high heel black leather shoes and a I am holding a sparkly clutch which was a gift from my dad which I got 6 years ago.

I did my hair with a 1 inch curling iron and my make-up was done professionally, although I think it was a little too dramatic!

Hope you are enjoying your week!

Let's Get That Toes and Nails Ready for a Party!!

I was invited to a party, no actually to two parties in one day! What can you do when both your and your husband's cousins are born the same day! :) Oh well, so I needed to get my toes and nails ready for the party! I knew beforehand that I was going to be needing a pedicure and a manicure, so when I came across this pedicure set I did not think twice to get it. It actually worked pretty well and I loved the toe separators, cause they did not hurt and did not rip my toes apart like all other ones I had did! So if you are looking for a pedicure set, I would recommend you get something similar to this!

Stay stylish!

From Nude to Black!

I think every girl should think about this! Colors... There are so many colors and mixture of those as well. One sometimes can get lost in identifying which one is her favorite color. Today I am going to talk about colors in general, but will explain it as an example on my nail polishes.

No matter how hard you try in choosing the right shape of the dress to suit your figure, you won't look your best without wearing flattering clothing colors that suit both your skin type and hair.

Now some basic tips to help you identify the best clothing color to make you glow and look at your best matching your hair color.
  • Blondes look fantastic in warm and bright tones such as yellows, oranges and rusts, as well as tans and taupes
  • Brunettes can wear a wide variety of colors, including greens, blues, oranges, chocolate browns and pinks
  • As for the redheads, they look best in browns and oranges, as well as taupes, ivories and greens.
The key in all of these is no matter what color is your skin or hair, nudes and blacks suit absolutely everyone. So if you are not sure which color to choose go for either a nude or a black color.

The same rule applies to the nail polish I use. No matter what crazy colors I might get when shopping, I always make sure that I have the nude one and black one ready to go, in case I need something quick to look good with everything!

Hope you are having a great week!

Stay healthy and stylish!
